The first in Singapore, Rainbow Wish’s Equine-Assisted Wellbeing Programmes are specially designed for alleviating depression in cancer or chronic illness sufferers, the socially disadvantaged and anyone who is sad, through interacting with horses. Our programmes are designed in consultation with Pegasus ECT, the Experiential Counselling Techniques specialist from USA.

What is Equine-Assisted Therapy (EAT)?

EAT is widely researched and employed in USA and UK. It encompasses a range of treatments that includes activities with horses to promote physical, occupational, and emotional growth in persons with anxiety, autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, dementia, depression, developmental delay, genetic syndromes, traumatic brain injuries, behavioural and abuse issues, post-traumatic stress disorder, drug and alcohol addiction, and other mental health problems.

What does Rainbow Wish do?

Rainbow Wish focuses on the wellbeing of our participants. True wellbeing begins in the mind. Hence, Rainbow Wish uses horses to facilitate relaxing interactions to improve the mental wellbeing, confidence and happiness of participants.

Members of support groups and their families are subsidised through Rainbow Wish’s partners and sponsors.
